Central Europe
For many tourists, this still is one of the unexplored parts of the old continent although it came from behind the iron curtain over 25 years ago.
Central Europe includes Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia. These states share strong historical and cultural connections. Central European countries built their identity throughout the ages of mutual relations, royal marriages, unions, universities exchanges and trade routes which connected all the main cities from south to north and east to west. Extraordinary cathedrals, beautiful castles and unique architecture of Prague, Berlin, Warsaw, Lviv and Vienna is a magnificent evidence of regional development recognised by UNESCO.

Berlin, the capital of Germany and the country's largest city. Noted for its cultural flair, Berlin is home to the world famous Berlin Opera and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, while its diverse art scene encompasses hundreds of galleries, events, and museums, including those centred around Museum Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Berlin Wall divided this magnificent city for nearly 30 years; this was the biggest symbol of the end of communism.
Brno
With a skyline dominated by the imposing Špilberk Castle and the soaring twin-spires of Peter and Paul Cathedral, Brno has an attractive and historic city centre. Brno is the second biggest city in the Czech Republic. It is an important business hub filled with many universities and a great place to live.
Lviv
The largest city in western Ukraine was founded in the 13th century. Lviv has changed flags many times over the years, having been part of Poland, Austria-Hungary and the Soviet empire. That is the reason behind numerous symbols present in that charming city, including marks of the Jewish, Hungarian and even Armenian history and culture.
Ostrava
This large city in North Moravia is one of the undiscovered jewels of the Czech Republic. Ostrava’s main attractions include the fascinating technical monuments of European importance and the famous Stodolní street which is a symbol of fun and a street which never sleeps.
